The personnel safety and health of each worker is of primary importance. The prevention of injuries and illnesses is of upmost importance such that it will be given priority over operating productivity. Management will provide all necessary mechanical and physical facilities required for personnel safety and health, in keeping with the highest standards.

Tatonka North maintains a safety and health program conforming to the best practices of organizations of this type. Proper attitudes towards injury and illness prevention on the part of both supervisors and employees are essential in order for such a program to be successful. Also required is co-operation in all safety and health matters, not only between supervisors and employees, but also between employees and his/her co-workers.

Our objective is a health and safety program that will reduce the number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum; not merely keeping with, but surpassing, the best experience of operations similar to ours. Our goal is zero accidents and injuries.
